CARE FOR ORPHANS / ASSISTANCE FOR ORPHANS
Caring for the Orphans has always been one of the core principles of ACT Malaysia. There are many orphanages in Maguindanao and Cotabato City, Mindanao which are in need of assistance. Many of them are sponsored by donors from Middle East or Turkiye but the funds are not enough to cover all the costs needed to keep the orphanage in tip top condition. The orphans are also in need of not just food but hygiene products and other essentials. For example, ACT Malaysia has sponsored washable pads for orphan girls. In addition, kitchen appliances such as refrigerator, gas cooker, even pots and pans are lacking in the orphanage. Some request for mattresses and pillows for a more comfortable sleep. These are what we provide for the orphans.
